Quick update, June 26

Three "surprise" movies opened at Indianapolis-area theaters this week.  The crime drama Escobar: Paradise Lost will be at the Studio Movie Grill, but possibly only through Monday evening, due to the "big" movies opening Tuesday evening, rather than Thursday, because of the Fourth of July.  Also, the Malayalam-language Indian film Premam will be shown twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday at the Metropolis 18 in Plainfield.  Finally, the Punjabi-language Indian film Sardar Ji will have two screenings per day, at least through Monday, at the Cinemark Movies 8 in Greenwood.  I do not know if either of the Indian films have English subtitles.

Further ahead, the horror comedy/romance Stung will get two screenings next week at the IMAX Theatre in downtown Indianapolis, according to the theater's site.  Also next week, the comedy The Overnight says it will go into nationwide release on July 3, so I am fairly certain it will open at the Keystone Art Cinema then.  Finally, the newly-added "Theaters" page on the official site for the acclaimed documentary Amy says that it will open at both the KAC and the Showplace 17 in Indianapolis on July 10.
